Mark Dickson has the new world record red stag. The 2011 SCI score is 640 3/8 for this stag taken in New Zealand. How did this bull even hold his head up!

Guessing it’s a 3 1/2 yr old. Would have been a good stag in a year or two Just kidding. Incredible animal!

I wouldn’t worry about the cost of the hunt. My main concern would be the cost of the room addition in which to put it in. Not only would it be a great mount to have, but on holidays I could hang misbehaving grandkids on it. On second thought would it be easier to build the room around it

Was looking around at prices for NZ hunts. Mostly they are based on SCI score. A scrub buck hunts averages around $2000 and getting up to a 400”+ would be $10,000 to $20,000. Can’t imagine the price for a 600”+ hunt would be. lol

Shouldn’t count since they’re not native to New Zealand. Just kidding. Thats an amazing animal! Maybe if i sold my 2 youngest children i could afford it.

Some hunts that I looked into last year had price ranges for amount of antler, but one price for anything over a certain amount of inches. Red Stag. If there’s only one animal I can put on my bucket list, that’s it. Absolutely majestic.

Our companies lawyer took himself and his 2 sons to New Zealand for Red Stag. Between airfare, lodge fees and trophy fees (all 3 shot stag) the total price was real close to $100,000.
