Geared Up for Elmwood

Fri, February 28, 2014

Thiis coming weekend is the big Elmwood All Outdoors Show.  The show starts on Saturday and runs through Sunday (9 to 5 both days).  I will be setting up a booth and giving a seminar at 11:00 on Saturday.  Here is a brief look at what I will be displaying and/or selling at my booth:

Above you can see the famous swim jig box.  As you can see the box is completely full with around 200 swim jigs ready for sale.  In addition, I have another 30 jigs that are considered “back stock”.  My daughter, father in law, and myself have worked very hard to get all these jigs done for the show.  Here are the six color schemes that will be available:

Suntan Craw

Bullgill…..........the best selling color the past few years.

Below are three new colors that I released for the first time at the Tinley Park show…............they were a big hit!

Black/blue/purple….........or what I like to call Bucketmouth Delight

Super Shad

And last, but certainly not least, is the new bluegill imitator known as AP Gill.  This color sold out at Tinley Park.  It seemed every angler loved this one:

My swim jigs (known as Scouts) are $4 apiece or a dozen for $44.  Keep in mind that when you purchase my jigs you also receive Big Hammer swimbaits free of charge to use as trailers…..............while supplies last.  So, if you want to get “pick of the litter” when it comes to my jigs and trailers, GET TO THE SHOW EARLY ON SATURDAY.

In addition to the swim jigs, I will also have a limited number of flies for sale.  I will have some smallmouth bass flies along with a few muskie flies:

And cannot forget the float n fly jigs that are personally tied by my father in law:

Lastly, I will have information on my guiding service for 2014.  I have a few new and exciting things in store for Camp Smallmouth for 2014.

I hope to see a lot of familiar faces and possibly others who are not familiar, but are readers of this blog.  Stop by and say hi.

AS ALWAYS…..........................HAIL TO THE SMALLIE

Wish I could make it to the show to see what your topic is! Hopefully since tomorrow is the beginning of March, spring starts to show up and we can get out to do some actual fishing. Good luck at the show.
