Massive locked bucks found

Sun, October 30, 2011

toluca locked 1

Every year produces at least a few locked pairs of big bucks found dead. Here’s the first we’ve seen from Illinois this season.

Mike Szczespanski found these two Marshall County bucks locked together, dead, down in a drainage ditch outside of Toluca. They are 19- and 13-pointers.
Dan Knight, president of the Toluca Sportsmans Club, emailed them to us.

Wow!  Both giants.  I hate to see an animal die that way, but I guess it is all part of nature.

Mike looks like a kid who just had his halloween candy stolen…  Nature can be very unforgiving.

Yea i think i would be looking the same if i was Mike, real upset, but still neat to find them.
