I’ve spent too much time talking about muskie fishing this year. Its just the way things have worked out. I’m not going to go over again how many of my lakes and rivers just didn’t produce much this past season. Rather than talk about the good old days I thought I’d post this video I made a couple years back when I was on the whites on the Illinois River. Now, as I’ve said before, I’m not a techie guy. But to get through winter I liked to do things related to fishing that amused me. Still do. Back in 2009 I did this video. It took me forever and felt like I was doing rocket science! That’s my way of saying don’t laugh too hard at how dumb it is. And even if it is, you’ll get the idea that fishing was pretty good. Most of this two part video was shot and edited from about 30 minutes of total footage. I think anybody would like to have the kind of catchin I was doing in half an hour! Enjoy.
That was fun too watch, 1 problem though…YOU NEVER KEPT ANY FISH!!!!!

In that case your going to be real disappointed in the second part of the video when I turn back the catfish I catch! The cool part is the catfish jumps during the fight. I’ve never seen that before of since.
