For the Elmwood area folks who’ve been emailing me for something close by, here’s a class that’s happening soon!

Illinois CCW ClassDave Shipley is hosting Illinois Concealed Weapon class Dec. 14 & 15, 2013Jan. 11 & 12, 2014
This is the two day 16 hour training class you need to get your Illinois CCW card.
Upon completion you will receive 2 certificates; 1 Illinois CCFL Training certificate and an NRA Basic Pistol certificate.

Kevin Moody will be your instructor – Kevin is a NRA Range Safety Officer • Former Marine, qualified expert rifle and expert pistol. • Field Artillery cannon crewman • Competes at Camp Perry National Matches (M1 Garand, antique arms, Springfield) • Competes in PPC (Police Pistol Combat) civilian division • Competes/Member IDPA and IPSC • NRA Basic Pistol • NRA Basic Rifle • NRA Basic Shotgun • NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home • NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home • Illinois Carry Conceal License Instructor
