Pheasants Forever state meeting ahead

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever will hold their 2012 Illinois State Meeting and awards banquet Friday and Saturday at Par-A-Dice Hotel in East Peoria.

This year’s agenda includes a visit by Howard Vincent, CEO of Pheasants Forever.

Seminars will include discussions of prescribed burns, getting the most out of grants, the Illinois Recreational Access Program, wingshooting, walk-in upland hunting access, youth grants and program ideas and more.
