80 degree weather end of March, and here we are in April.. and a freeze warning for us tonight.. UGH Bring back the warm weather !!!

Lol Im ok with the cool weather too Matt, I guess I should say I am picky.. if I could keep it around 60 all year long….......
I don’t like the hot weather, but no freezing .. just somewhere in between….

what i want to know are we still goihg to find mushrooms in peoria county,when this wierd weather changes and it finally rains.like to turkey hunt and pick mushrooms when i coming and going

Well we are finally having normal temps.  Maybe the first round of mushrooms was a bonus round and we will actually get the shrooms at normal time.

Went to Gander Mountain at lunch and ended up buying an ice auger.  There were 2 left out of the box for over 50% off (Strikemaster Lazer Mag).  Hate spending money on ice fishing in April, but too good of a deal to pass on.  I’ve never owned a power auger before, so I I don’t know what they usually come with.  Anyone know if they usually come with a stand?

Never seen one with a stand.  Usually motor, auger, blades and cap.  Depending on the type of motor, it might come with some oil to mix with gas.

You can probably get a earth auger for that.  Works great for post holes or plants.

Didn’t know such a thing existed.  If I had, I probably could have talked the wife into getting one years ago—a tool instead of a toy, lol.
