Usually apply Aug. 1 thru aug 31.  Site says there is an application period but I can’t find the form which in past had to be filed by mail.

Thanks for the info. I’ll start watch the DNR site in aug. The herds are thin where I hunt and will not shoot a doe. My way of making the herd grow. Plus a little extra spending money.

Thanks just printed it.  In reading it I see you can get an over the counter archery permit Aug. 1 “Single antlerless-only permit are $15.50”  or a combo for $26.  Is this something new as I thought you couldn’t get single archery permits OTC - just can’t remember.

BP - Single “antlerless only” archery permits have been available OTC for several years.  The paper application is for the single “either-sex” permit.  So, if you wish to take an antlered animal, you either obtain the OTC combo permit, which is available throughout the archery deer season; or, submit the paper application for the single “either-sex” permit (apply during August).  Tom
