I read about these critters being seen regularly in the southern counties of Illinois. That was a few years back though. Anyone here ever seen one in Illinois yet?

Last one I saw road killed was just West of the Nashville exit on I64 as well.  Sounds like they should open a gun season on them in Washington Co.!!

A guy up by Maroa ran over a wolverine on the road. Anyone see or hear of them around here?

A wolverine? Wow. There was some footage of one a few years back on the ice pack of Lake Erie but that’s the closest I’ve head of one.

May have been the same one I saw.  Couldn’t remember if it was this summer or the last.

Fellas, I apologize, yes, it was a badger, not a wolverine.

I have heard several stories of kids bringing road kill back from other states and dumping them along the road.

Wow. Going to another state to gather road kill and bringing it back? Those are some incredibly bored kids….however though…

Flying squirrels. The last time I saw one was about 20 yrs ago at my parents house right at dusk. It jumped from a towering oak to a big maple and parachuted right in.
