im from the quad city area in illinois and am looking to mold a big gizzard shad for my latest lure. i was hoping someone from the area would have some frozen or knew where i could go to find some giant ones. it needs to be about 10 inches. hope you guys can help!

I believe Lake George up in your area used to have a really good pop. of shad.

yeah, just as well if you can. if you cant, no big deal. gizzard shad are sometimes difficult to work, so just to be safe. closest thing you can get around 10 inches. where are you located?
