I found these in an undisclosed South-Central Illinois location this morning. Not a huge haul but enough to get my munch on!

Dang those look good!!!What kind of areas ya finding them in??High,low,around creeks?

They were in a fairly level woods, not by any creek bottoms. Near the edge. They were on a high spot in kind of a swampy area. Around soft maples.

Going back out this afternoon to a better spot.

Didn’t find any yesterday. Probably can’t get back out til tomorrow at the earliest.

I heard a report of someone finding some big yellows in Fayette Co. already.
