These comments are exactly the reason I use many different mouth blown calls, as everyone uses an electronic caller these days usually blaring some king of rabbit in distress call.
I wouldn’t worry about a 308 doing pelt damage, in my experience, the faster small calibers (220 swift, 22-250) do more damage (pelt tearing) than the bigger, slow deer-sized calibers. If you chose the right bullet with your 308, you won’t even be able to tell what caliber shot it.
As for selling a coyote…good luck! About 1 out of 3 has a pelt worth anything, and even then you would be lucky to get $5 in the carcass and $10 skinned!
