We have all had them. BUT I am gonna raise the bar…

This is a deer camp recipe that people always ask for…

To keep it simple because I am making it for my wife to take to work tomorrow I will put on the girl panties for the none venison folks…

1lb ground breakfast sausage
1lb HOT breakfast sausage
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Kentucky kernal
5 cups milk
2 to 3 cans condensed chedder cheese soup

Brown sausage set set aside

In same skillet melt butter, stir in Kentucky kernal until smooth then add milk. bring to gradual boil an dstir for 2 minutes… Stir in soup, then tranfer to slow cooker and cook 7 to 8 hours on LOW…

Okay, now for the outdoorsman… Replace pork for venison breakfast sausage…Stir in hard boiled eggs, deer bacon, mushroom be it morel or hen of the woods…

Makes for a great breakfast and the more SPICE/HEAT the better…Nothing like coming in from a COLD morning hunt and getting warmed up the right way….

That sounds great.  Our favorite deer camp recipe is:  throw frozen pizza in oven, open budweiser and watch college football.

Stopped by Walmart and picked up some of that Kentucky Kernal flour and tried your recipe. Absolutely phenomenal!!! Can’t wait until next weekend to do it again!
