the season is darn near over hear in central il, we are finding a few but they are far in between though, were keepin an eye for the squatch yellows and thats bout it! we had an incredible season….picked close to 20 lbs. or so….....here is a pic of the biggest bouquet of morels weve ever found to this date!!!......we counted like twenty seven or so in this pic…...the whole bouget literally spannned out to a 10 ft. radius….not kidding…...this photo doesnt do justice to how big this patch was…..we picked close to 3 lbs or so off this one spot about 2 weeks ago…..

Where are you located, Coot?  There are mixed reports still coming in in the north.

I’ll be trying Lee County Thursday afternoon (turkey in the a.m.), so I’m hoping that rain helps too.  Somebody posted they were still finding them in Fulton County on morels.com recently.

Is anybody finding any schrooms up North in Lake County or the Waukegan area? And if so is there a state park or a public area to find them?
