Went out in Fulton on 10/1 and 10/2.  All three of us saw 3-10 deer per hunt.  Numbers seem decent.  Trail cameras are showing plenty of does, some fawns, and some decent bucks.  Maybe only a couple 4 year old though…

Been out for an evening as well as a morning sit in NW IL on public land - handful of tree rats and a lone coyote was all I’ve seen.  Headed down to the farm in Greene County this weekend, hopefully the weather man is lying and it won’t be 70+...

My prediction was spot on… sweat dripping from my beak by the time I got in my stand.  Hunted Saturday/Sunday mornings and saw nothing.  Got a couple stands hung, so I guess it was a success.
