I took two deer to this company to be processed and the health inspector shuts them down and throws away my deer because of their violations.  What should I do?  Is there any way to get reimbursed?

Just read the article - You would think he would want to make things right with those who lost their deer at no cost to them.  He probably figures 20 lost deer = 20 lost customers next yr anyways.  I would’nt be inclined to bring a deer into him next yr.

Terrible deal. I don’t have any answers. Read the story and feel bad for you.

Yessir sorry for your loss. Every one needs to learn to process their own deer, not a big deal, pretty easy. Not only that, you know you are getting your own meat back, your not loosing any “accidently”, and when you learn to clean it correctly, you have better meat to eat than what you normally get from a processor. I process all my own deer, and when you do learn how to do it, you don’t have all the grissle, no hair, no glands, and you have only good meat. There are web sites that teach you, or get someone to help show you. You will be surprised how easy it is.
