I was wondering if anybody out there uses 18” crossbow arrows….a lady gave me $85 to order her boy arrows for her since she didn’t know what she was doing and well let’s just say I had a brain fart and ordered 18” arrows instead of 28” arrows….I took them out of the tube and thought ohhhh s**t what an idiot!!! I think I’m gonna be as close to dead as it comes!!! If anybody is needing any let me know…they’re actually pretty sweet!

Sorry.  Mine shoot 22”.  If you have 18” bolts, then you could possibly go to a local archery shop and see if he/she will swap them out for the size you need At least get some sort of discount.  Worth a try.

I think all crossbow arrows are referred to as bolts.  If I remember correctly, there are two types of nocks…one flat and one slightly notched.  Your type of xbow will shoot one better than the other…it will be in the manual for the crossbow.

Here’s u-tube about bolts.  There are differences on nocks and length but that’s about it.  Its a term that carries over from the old days when “bolts” were used without fletchings, and made with wood shafts, etc..  Seems you can use the term ‘bolt’ and ‘arrow’ inter-changeably these days, but If you referenced ‘bolts’ most folks would know you are talking about a crossbow.  Some internet archery sites get into heated discussions about the term.  Selling them on line may be a good way to go.
