Does anyone else besides me seem to be seeing more deer? I’ve gone 2 or 3 years barely seeing any, but this spring/summer I’ve been seeing increased numbers in all the old spots they used to be. Even had a velveted 8 point jog down the lane in front of me tonight.

I will say I have seen more deer the past month than the entire winter. But I think it maybe that with the farmers spraying the corn & beans may have them moving a bit more. I have seen deer running out of corn fields in unusual places. It could also be with all the high water, that could be moving them around in certain areas.

I would guess that the excessive rainfall this past month has probably pushed them out of the bottoms and any river/creek ground they may usually haunt.

I see the same 2 does with twins most nights and one little buck.  Used to see 12 to 15 in that same field a couple years ago.  Most of them are just gone in several areas I used to see them.

A couple of years ago in the late winter we would have about 30 deer in the corn field plot. They would eat all of the corn in the entire field by the time spring came around. This last winter we would have a max of about 5 or 6 deer. We have not planted that field yet because I am still picking corn out of there. Which let me tell you by hand really sucks. So in a long way we still have not seen very many deer on our property. It has been a bad combination of disease and moron neighbors shooting everything that walks under them.
