We’re in a heck of a drought plus the spawn funk. I’ve been mostly wading here and there when time allows. Did get up to Wisconsin for an afternoon on the Wisconsin River. But didn’t have the Cuda, borrowed a buddy’s little Perception sit-in kayak. Fishing has been a blast. I just surpassed 400 catches for the year thus far. The vast majority have been river smallmouth. Some pics from the past few weeks…

Hatchling snapping turtle

Smallie off a Megabass PopX

Green frog

Ripe mulberries along the river

Killdeer clutch

Ferrari out on the town

Lambo

Whoever said “small mouth” hasn’t caught a big one yet!

Waterline capture

My bud…

Wisconsin River fattie that totalled a spinnerbait

My buddy Kevin kickin’ it in the Coosa…

Lip this!

Route 82 bridge not too far from the Wisconsin Dells

Good fishing!
