I took the boy fishing at my in laws farm pond this afternoon. We ended up landing 3 Bass and 2 Bluegill. We got lots of bites but with the cooler weather they just weren’t taking the bait too good.

Get that rod tip down Son!

Nice bass for a little pond so small I can cast to anywhere on it from one spot. I would say it was somewhere between 1.5 and 2 lbs.

Dig the action shots, a cool fishing shirt and a proud angler posing with his catch.  And are those bare feet?  Good stuff.

Thanks guys. Yeah his shoes were so muddy and wet it would not have mattered if he had them on or not. Can’t keep them on him anyway.
