Who’s going to turkey hunt with there bow this year?

I’m going to try with both gun and bow. Gun first and then bow if I’m lucky enough to get a tag from the daily drawings.

I hope I can!  I had tendon reattachment surgery 7 weeks ago in my elbow and I have another Dr. apointment on 4/9.  If he gives me the go-ahead, I will be in the woods with my bow.  If not, out comes the boomstick.

I am going to give it another shot again this year.  Last year was my first try to get a turkey with a bow.  It didnt start so well and i missed the first turkey that came within range.  It ended well with me leaving the bow at home and then harvesting the biggest gobbler of my life.  I am going to try bow during 2nd season and gun on 4th season.  Good luck everyone!

I’m going to Nebraska to chase some birds.  I don’t have that many birds on my 120 acres.  I’ll be shooting my Mathews and either Swhackers or Rages.  Archery hunting turkeys is a lot of fun.  If you haven’t tried it, they are hard to kill with a bow.  Just remember, “Shoot ‘em high and watch ‘em die, shoot ‘em low and watch ‘em go.”

I’ll be trying my luck with the bow at Jubilee again this year. Last year was my first time turkey hunting and I went out there for first season, saw a whole bunch but couldn’t make it happen. I bet I hiked 100 miles chasing those shifty birds though.
