Looking for thoughts on electrics. I just sold my Bad Boy Buggy Classic and am looking to replace it but not sold on any of them. My BBB was loud….the suspension squeaked and creaked if you didn’t keep the springs completely dirt free. Even when clean, it wasn’t perfectly quiet. I have more faith in the newer strut style suspension than leaf springs and independent shocks but several brands are still running springs / shock rather than struts. My other issue with the classic was that it floated and felt top heavy.

Anybody have luck with either a new BBB or HuntV or Stealth or any other recommendations???

I hear ya!  Your doing a good thing!  My hunting buddy is getting up there in years as well.  I do whatever I can to help him out.  We can’t use any kind of motorized vehicles where we hunt or we would.  Only one I’ve been on is the BBB and it was pretty nice but it was new.  Hope you find what you’re looking for

The new dec/jan Illinois game and fish mag has an article that may help comparing the electric ATV/UTV’s. Pretty cool your helping out the old timers.

I have used the Bad Boy and the Polaris EV Ranger on a farm in Illinois.  We like the Rangers much more than the BB.  They have a better suspension and ride better and have lots more power than the BB.  The BB have been parked in the shed and haven’t moved in I don’n know how long.

I have a BBB and secretly have lusted after the HuntV and Stealth as well. BBB is just too darn tough to turn easily. It does ok, but have seen the HuntV turn on a dime and has a higher suspension. On the other hand- since BBB was bought by Club Car golf cart company- parts and service are readily available. Before it was impossible to find anyone to work on them. Praireland Golf Cars in Bloomington does great annual service on the BBB.
