My dad and his buddy hunted Sunday through Tuesday in southern Fulton.  Said they were slowly shutting down and by Tuesday basically done….might be a long weekend.  But the mushrooms are out!

Good luck.  I know Ill be needing it.  They seem to always be around in the fall, but spring is a different story where I hunt.

Might be slow, but being out in the woods is still better than most other things.

Yesterday here in southern Illinois we had 5 gobblers that all had at least 3 hens with them all day.  The hens were roosted in the trees and not on nests.  Don’t know what’s going on because they should be nesting by now.
