Why hasn’t the photo of the day changed?  The one from May 22 is still showing.  Nice fish, but ready to see something different.

Thinking same thing, not much is updated including news outside at top.  Just basic DNR releases and G’s / V. hunters blogs every now and then.

I’ve definitely been thinking the same thing. One of the first things I looked forward to seeing each day was the pic of the day. We’re so lucky to have so many great sportsman post their experiences. Hope things are well with Jeff.

Thanks for the concern. As I hope you can see, we have again been posting Pictures of the Day. For the past few years, I had a young man working for me who handled that. He moved on to a new job and it has taken awhile to train his replacement. The new Web master is up and running and you will see more pictures and posts.

As far as me being OK, that’s always been a matter of debate. Obviously, I spend less time with this Website than I did before starting our weekly newspaper, The Weekly Post. The paper and the print magazine are my two main work focuses. My family is an even larger priority, since I’ve seen too many friends and family members die in recent years. Their deaths have hammered home the point to me that life is too short. Finally, keeping an eye on our new 42-acre farm has also taken a bit of my time. As a result of all that, the Website has lost a bit in my priority list.

But if time allows, I hope to soon start posting more about land management, since I find it fascinating and potentially of value to readers.

And as soon as I can figure out how best to do it, we will be linking directly to past issues of the magazine through our Website.

Thanks again for your interest.
