I saw the same thing.  Went out to Lake Rice and there were dead fish there too.

Lake turning over? Could be weather changing temps. Water shed draining into the lakes come from a lot of farm ground?

nothing but farm ground and the city golf course.  i have not checked any other lakes or ponds.  i hope this does not set the lake back again.  it was just getting to where you could catch a few catfish.  I still wouldnt eat them.  but fun to catch none the less.

Due to the harsh winter, a lot of lakes and ponds experienced a fish kill. Lake Storey is still a good fishery. In fact, I caught a 24” Walleye at Lake Storey this weekend.
