Mr. Rossiter,

I had permission to fish before the landfill was ever a thought. I hunted a few times with the old guys around Fairview that hunted it all the time. So now you know when and how. It used to be a big cattle farm.

For you. you came on a public forum and tried to deceive your identity to convey a message and clearly lied. I called you on it and you fessed up. This is the wrong place to do that.

I know who Brad is and I know he is a stand up guy and I hope the IDNR makes no more cuts so he can stay in Fulton County.

When you called me out after you lied and falsified your identity you showed Brad and everyone else what kind of person you really are. Yes I called you out for everyone to see and did it publicly. But now when you cry wolf to Brad or anyone else they are going to question your integrity. That is too bad it could have been done without trying to deceive people.

For meeting me or me calling you. Time will tell on that I guess.

Good Luck Mr. Rossiter and Happy Hunting. I hope it was all worth all of the deception to kill that big buck, or turkey, or pick mushrooms or catch big bass or whatever. People know the truth now.

Scooter, No one is crying wolf. Seriously, what’s your deal? I had a few Fairview locals tell me the things about other locals tresspassing at there will. Maybe it’s not true. Which as u say, time will tell. So, nothing else I have said, was a lie. Maybe u got nothing better to do, than worry about what cameras, signs, fish, deer, turkeys, etc. are on a property that you will never step foot on again.  I’m just trying to get the word out, so we don’t have to call the game warden, or Sherriff. We’d rather not do so. We seem to be on the same side with the local game warden, so why do u keep bringing it up. Brad does do a good job and is serious about it, as I have already said.

And if you have a bone to pick with me, Aaron, W.P.s, “our farmer”, or our neighbors, be a man and pick up the phone. Instead of hiding behind a screen name.

I am done with this post and will not be responding anymore. So, either pick up the phone and call, so we can discuss “your issues”, respectfully and like free men, or stop crying like a baby. There’s obviously some personal vendetta from you towards, others.

And just because my cell phone has a Colorado area code, doesn’t mean I live there.

Have a good one.. I will be waiting for your call….

Mr. Rossiter,

You like calling me names don’t you. I have been cordial to this point. I have no beef with any of your farmers, neighbors, or anyone from Fairview Illinois. My Beef is with you.  The point that you need to understand is that you came on here intentionally deceiving people. I pointed that out and ruffled your feathers a bit. You brought IDNR folks into the conversation not me. You blamed all the tresspassing on Fairview folks that I have known for quite sometimewhich is absolutely untrue. Your tresspassers are going to come from all over the place because of the greed to kill a big buck, catch fish , mushroom hunt, ginseng hunt, turkey hunt. You bought your property and you deserve to enjoy that property and people need to respect that. For the few that don’t they need to be taught a lesson and pay the consequences they are the ones that made that decision. From now on though if you have a bone to pick with anyone don’t try to be deceptive and represent your self in that manner, I know and hope you are better than that. You will meet me soon enough when I come back to Fairview Illinois and I will gladly stop and introduce myself. But understand one thing Mr. Rossiter. Make sure you, 100% positive that you are getting information from the correct people from what you call the locals. Have a good day Mr. Rossiter I hope you enjoy your hunting and fishing as any landowner should. It is too bad that landowners have to spend so much money on cameras and security equipment to protect their investment and it is ashame that deer hunting has gotten so far out of hand.

Happy Hunting.

P.S. I like Scooter.

Scooter my boy, u’ve repeated the same thing multiple times, and the horse has expired. I know I said, I was done, but some accusations can not go undefended.

I have to respond to you IDNR issue and explain in better detail so you can understand what we’ve dealt with. Then the next time you try to make comments, you can have the correct information, and stop making stuff up.

Your acting like I blew some officers cover… He is not under cover, and is a listed IDNR officer!!  Myself and other people have heard horror stories, how certain people, poach/trespass, and are caught red handed. Then the Sheriff or other IDNR officer is called, and nothing is done! U think that’s fair to the persons whom own the property? The only reason I mentioned his name, is so other landowners can call him and can expect something to be done, because he is serious about his job, not like some of the others that refuse to ticket people or enforce the law. Nothing wrong with that at all!!! So, please get over it… I never said a single bad thing about him and only gave him praise for doing the job right.

As for the trespassing issue, this past mushroom season was freakn crazy!! If these people just ask for permission, we just may say, “yes”, because we don’t do the mushroom thing. We ran off a girl in a white truck, that was dropping off 4-5 guys, then picking em up on the other end. When I pulled up to her, she was parked right next to our posted sign. I politely told her, she and her friends do not have permission and if we catch her again, we will call the authorities. So, they just moved up to our northern neighbors and did the same thing. Which was trespassing and theft. People that take shrooms, sheds, etc. without permission are not only trespassing, but are committing “theft”.  We did the same with 2 other groups. So, we decided we just have to call the authorities immediately and press charges. Then we found another truck parked on bottom road. We called this particular IDNR officer, and he came out right away. When the 2 guys walked out of “our” woods, which we all saw them do, they completely lied to him, and the officer knew it. He asked us what we wanted him to do, and we told him to press charges “to the fullest extent” of the law. Then he gave them the tickets they should have gotten. He was serious and did his job right.

Guess where these 2 criminals were from? You got it, Fairview. I’m NOT saying the entire town is filled with criminals, but there are bad apples, as with any other town. Many of the Fairview locals which I have met were great people!

Also, you do know that buckeye cameras can be used for getting pictures of wildlife as well? But, it’s really none of your business what we or our neighbors have on “our” property, right?

Trespassing, poaching, theft, etc. is real. So, I do not understand why you fault any landowner that wants to protect his investment? I bet there’s many people on here that are in our same boat, from the stories I have read. The penalty for trespassing, should be a lot more severe in Illinois, like it is in western states.

I addressed the, “acting like someone else”. Which is not a huge deal, considering I used my same screen name as I always do. So, I was sure someone would pick up on it. Which you are the winner.  Just think of it as, I told it in 3rd person..  The rest of what I said is 100% true.

Bottom line is, the old BFI ground is now owned by several private parties, who all take trespassing, theft, poaching seriously. If someone wants to go on our ground, they will have to call us for permission, or they will be dealt with by law enforcement… We have a zero tolerance policy!!!!

Thank you for your time Scooter…
