Does anyone know if anything was spilled into the Hennipen Canal or Bureau Creek?

the train was carrying ethanol, so i would say that there is a good chance that ethanol spilled into bureau creek. i looked for signs of a fish kill, but i didnt see anything. ethanol is basically the kind of alcohol that we drink, so it should wash out pretty fast. however, we dont know what else spilled.

Thanks for the update.Glad no one was hurt.I was concerned when I heard the car’s were carrying chemicals, been going up there for over 30 years to camp/fish.I’m happy to hear that you didn’t see any fish kills, but sometimes it takes awhile to see the negative effects of spills.Let’s hope for the best…Thanks again.
