That is pretty cool. My wife and I just viewed it and saw the eagle blink a couple times and then periodically nod off. Going to check it again in the morning to see how early it goes out for a Asian carp breakfast.

Thanks fishinpal for posting! The sound system this year is awesome, can’t wait till the hatch.
For those that might not know, there’s a trout stream right below the nest.I’ve caught trout down stream from that spot that had talon scars.

Oops, I just assumed this was along the Mississippi river (Asian carp comment). Thanks for subtly punking me out on that one Troy, I should have known better. Don’t go spreading that “trout” thing around too much before I get a chance to test the waters. I don’t like a crowded stream when I’m fly fishing, it has a tendency to lead to a great deal of ducking and cursing from the ones that stand too close to my unorthodox casting style.

I’ve got three now. One new pontoon, one new G3, and one we use for the ponds. Oh well, we have have plenty of room for another one.

There’s 3 eggs now,she laid the third egg on march 2…Est,time of hatch, end of march or first part of april.

colt…don’t worry, that stream runs thru the edge of town. It’s a cool little stream’good for stockers’but not one that’s near the top of the list.I’m also a self taught fly flinger…watch out bystanders.

fishinpal…lol, just need to explain to the better halve, that you need a bigger garage.

bit of info on the eagles.
This is his second mate.First one died several years ago,he’s been with this younger chick for 4 years now.
The female sleep’s on the nest at night, while he perches on a branch nearby.
How to tell apart.Female is bigger, plus has a grayish patch by the eye.He looks like he has more of an eye liner around the eye.
