I am looking for suggestions or advice on buying a youth bow.  My boy is 9 years old and I am buying him bow for Christmas.  I want to buy something he will be able to hunt with eventually.  Right now I am looking at the Bear Apprentice 2 and the Mission Craze.  Price doesn’t matter I just want him to have a good bow.  Any advice appreciated.

Matthews has one that is adjustable from I think it is 25 lbs to 70 lbs with adjustable draw lengths for youth to begin with then advance. My son-n-law is buying one for his son, the price is right, below $400. Local bow shop can’t keep them in stock they sell so quick.

I bought my daughter a Barnett youth bow.  It’s only 25 lb and it was pretty cheap.  Gonna make sure she likes it and wants to stick with it before I buy a more expensive set up

I spent over $600 on my sons bow setup.  He got a shot his 1st time in the stand and almost got another shot his 2nd trip.  He’s never gone a 3rd time!  That was like 5 years ago.  I sold that bow for $100.
