After reading Gretchen’s article on the subject of nats and bug repellants, it got me wondering if there are any others repellants out there that maybe everyone doesn’t know about?  I had never heard of Buggins before reading the comments to the article (I am picking a bottle up after work).  I have had pretty good luck with Vanilla Bug Spray (VBS) made in Pekin(I beleive).  Lets get the reviews and tests going. Between all the good people on this site i am sure we can find the best one.

Does the Buggins help with the mosquitoes at all?  I think the VBS helps. but not so well at nite when they are real bad.

Look forward to the input on this subject.

I had the same question on the buggins and if it worked for the killer mosquitos.  My dad swears my an antiseptic for knats, and it works unbelievably good, but I am not completely sure how healthy it is to use and get on your hands and everything.  I have heard the great thing about buggins is its natural ingredients.

” Repel” works great for mosquito’s and bugs in general. Spray on clothing, not skin. can be found at WalMart. Also for ticks “Sawyers” which can be found at WalMart also will keep all ticks off your clothing and you!
