Got off work at 6 and had to run an errand, but I wanted to fish tonight since we got some afternoon rain.  I stopped by the Conservation Area (Crawford County) on my way home hoping to catch a couple fish.  Ended up with only 1 actually landed, after I lost a 3 1/2 pounder as I was pulling it to shore!  Took my bass home to fry up in some beer batter.  Talk about a good supper!  It was an awesome evening, quiet, birds chirping, geese honking every now and then in the distance.  The best part was there were turkeys gobbling down in the pasture just below the dam of the pond I was at.  Pretty much the whole time I was there , you could hear at least one turkey gobbling!  Who else has been hearin’ em?

If it runs, flies, or drives, I’m interested!

I was camping in Marion County this weekend and they were gobbling big time. I saw two different long beards wandering around without hens. Taking my son for a youth hunt this weekend in that same area. It should be HOT HOT HOT!!!!
