I agree.  Class act all the way.  Why can’t everyone act this way?  I did try to use it this afternoon via a spray bottle.  I just added some CS to my ScentKiller bottle.  Don’t do what I did.  It plugged up the bottle after ony 2-3 squirts.  I’m gonna try the panyhose thing.

I am a firm beleiver in the stuff now. I was busted a couple times the first two weeks this year. Then I got the CS and have not been bust yet with it. As for the spray bottle, I have notice that if I mix it up just a little on the weak side that it does clogg the spray bottle. I just spray all my clothes twice(and let dry) before I got out and put a very lite dusting in my hat(once every 2 weeks). I have also started spraying the inside of my clothes instead of the outside, I think it helps from the CS making me look like a dark spot cause it will darken your clothes just a hint. I haven’t had to wash my clothes because of smell yet, but I have washed them because of dirt and mud. I’m not going to waste the money on scent blocker or scent loc ever again.

I mix it up 1 gallon at a time and have only made 2 gallons this year, I bought 2 bottles this year and one bottle would have made it all season for me. I will be ordering several more bottles after christmas to stock up,,,I don’t want to run out.

Maybe I’ll try diluting mine a little more so the bottle doesn’t clog.

I am thinking that those scent spray bottles are made to make such a fine mist that that might be the reason they clog up with this.  A cheap general spray bottle like others have mentioned using is probably the way to go.

After reading on this site about it I too bought a bottle ( no freebies but I would have paid double for the one I got )  I apply it as a spray solution but I went to the local farm store and bought a new 2gl pump sprayer.  Doesnt clog and I just leave it with my hunting stuff.  I have had several deer directly downwind no problem, but I will have to say i did get busted once.  Sitting on the ground when a doe came by at 5 yrds!! I was hidden really well but she got a little whiff and decided to see what was in that bush..never seen a deer freak out so bad but I guess when you put your nose in a bush that has a hunter in it they kinda freak out!!  Could have slapped her in the head if I was quick enough!! lol!

Hey EVERYONE thanks for the kind words and testimonies! Unreal that theres people that actually will take the time and think outside the box these days and try something different. Just talking, chatting and reading what everyone has said really keeps us thinking we are doing things right. Although i will have to say that, im gonna find out who sent out 6 bottles for the price of 1…........ theres some major discipline coming down the line here, like an extra hunting day or something im thinking? But really we RANDOMLY pick people to throw extra stuff at because, well just because why not. We developed this company on the stance of customers first, PERIOD and if it ever changes please let us know we WILL fix it. I know Lee emailed us today to give us some positive feedback and the rest of the company couldnt believe we get so much feedback like this but really makes it special for us is when i think i suprised Lee with a phone call right after he emailed us. We are a personal company, there will be sometimes that you will talk to us on our personal cell phones (like Lee did). We WANT you to call us if theres an issue, we’ll fix it THEN if we can.
As for usage, you guys are doing just what we do with it, play with it. Now we dont recommend the hand sprayer for a few reasons but definitely LOVE the garden pump sprayer. The extra pressure is just want the DR ordered for the clogged tip and it does large areas like whole ground blinds in a snap or your buddy that youre hunting with and then he you. Simple but a tad messy but as we always say “this isnt your pretty boy scent control system” Its for people that take the time and concentrate on taking their time in doing things better than before, like the pantyhose trick. AWESOME trick with CS and i double/triple them up to make it less dusty. Also if youre going to dust you clothes, just throw in tote with a bit of powder and shake away 20-30 sec then youre good. Only 1-2 items though because its not very penetrating with lots of clothes. Feel free to visit our website for our youtube video instructions and soon we may let people add their own to our site. CarbonSynergy.net Good luck to all and we’re sure we talk to you all soon. CS Staff

Thanks for stopping by CS.  That says a lot right there.  And thanks for being the type of company we all wish everyone else could be like.

Not a problem MattS, and if you ordered some CS yesterday, it left yesterday….......if not then i guess ill prob have to get you something for free dangit?! But if everyone wants to keep track of some of the deer that have been shot just by people that have sent stuff to us feel free to checkout our Facebook page and gawk, drool, post and make fun of Irv’s hat which if you read the story will show EXACTLY why we hunt the way we do. Truly a testimony from one of the out of the box kinda hunters we know and pushes CS right to the edge. Thanks again Everyone, CS Staff

I have a few questions first how long before treatments need to be washed off and reaplyed? I know carbon can only absorb for so long and I can’t find any info on this for this product.
My next question isn’t really about this stuff and I’m sure its a fine product, but has anyone actually checked thermals and what the wind is really doing when this happens? I don’t mean with the fancy powders that are marketed for that purpose, to get a real idea find some milk weed pods and testahe seeds, I would recomend doing this for anyone out there, sometimes the wind is not what it seems.
Sorry I know I’m a sceptic when it comes too this scent control stuff and really only see the value in it for keeping your hunting buddies from wanting to burn your clothes when you get back to camp. Really I’m surprised people still swear on the idea of being scent fres even after tests have shown its not possible.

Hey now.  If someone gets a day off to hunt for sending me 6 bottles, shouldn’t I get 2 days off to hunt just for snitching?  Just sayin’.

Steve, I’m not sure anyone is claiming to keep you scent “free”.  It’s a reduction in scent.  Scent control.  Prior to using CS, I have always worn scent blocking hunting cliothes.  Late last year my better-than-average wife bought me the Dream Season Scent Blocker pants and jacket.  I can tell you with experience that this clothes works.  It doesn’t eliminate your scent, but it certainly reduces it.  Now that I’ve added CS to that suit, I believe it to be even more scent controlled.  I have a VERY mature buck completely downwind of me at 6 yards for about 15 minutes.  My stand is only 11 feet up the tree.  He actually looked at me several times and tried to wind me with his nose in the air and my scent cone had a bullseye on his nose and I got away with it.  He walked off without getting shot at….but he WALKED off.  He didn’t run off or snort.  Complete scent elimination I also believe can not be achieved.  In fact, I wish boot scent control would come next.  I don’t care what type of boot you’re wearing, if a deer crosses your path, they pick up on it.
