Has anyone been seeing any signs of the rut? There have been a few scrapes in the last few days and a couple of rubs but nothing to serious in my neck of the woods… Good luck to all this year.

I have 2 bucks fighting on cameras. I figure between the quick weather changes and the farmers finishing up it should fire up.

Activity has picked up - more bucks on their feet feet after 11:00 am than last week - found lots of new rubs and scrapes from Halloween till gun season is my favorite.

I saw 2 bucks chasing on my Saturday afternoon sit.  I didn’t get a good look at the bigger one but guessing he may have been a nice 10 pointer.

Activity is picking up. Shot a 10 pointer on Friday that was walking around. Saw a couple of younger bucks chasing a doe. I don’t think she was ready though.

Drop everything and get into the timber.  Now.  Most intense chasing phase I have seen in years, possibly ever.  Shot this guy on 11/09.

Keep at it.  The morning hunts have been 10 times better than the afternoon hunts.  But that’s the way it always seems to be for me at least.
