I just returned today from turkey hnting in pike county. strange thing . our lease near griggsville the gravel road is so dry theres dust.??? go 1 mile east to valley city where the illinois is at flooding big time. my friend who lives in vally city is ready to use his 4 wheeler to get to high ground to go to work in the future. he said that the river at merisoda will be at 22 feet above flood stage soon 2 feet higher than anytime in history farmers in the river basin ahve moved all their equipment to high ground because of the water. 6 months ago, the barge traffic was at a stand still . now too much water. the water from around chicago that has flooded everything there is headed down state. has anyone thought about the 2-3 feet of snow in wisconsin recenty that still has to melt and work its way south? gonna be wet for a LONG time glad i live on high ground
