I agree with the peak of chasing being Nov. 7-10 based on my cameras and encounters. My cameras show the best day was Nov. 10th and that was also the day I took a mature 10 pointer. I believe that they were pretty much all locked down by the weekend of the shotgun season. I heard to predict the 2nd rut you can go 3-4 weeks after peak chasing to give you a rough estimate. Last year I think it happenned a little later, though, as I experienced the best week of hunting all year from Christmas to New Year’s. The way the bucks were still harassing does instead of feeding with them I would have to say in my area, IMO, this was the 2nd rut last year. Best way to find out is just to stay out there and stay on them bc the window is much smaller the 2nd time around
