Have you ever wanted to write a blog (article) about something in the outdoors but didn’t have a place to post it?  Well now you do.

We will be starting a new blog on the Heartland Outdoors website.  The writers for the new blog will be our members.  Members will submit their article to Heartland Outdoors.  Once the article is approved, it will be posted on the main site just like all the other blogs.  As long as members keep submitting their articles, they will be posted once per week.  The writers of the article will be given full credit or can be anonymous if they request.

Need to stress one thing that I would hope everyone already assumes.  Write your own stuff and if you need to quote someone else’s writing, make sure you give them credit.

Send your articles to Jeff at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  The articles will start being posted the week of or after the Deer & Turkey Classic.

If you have any questions, go ahead and ask them here.

It doesn’t matter if a Pulitzer worthy article or just some ramblings.  Submit something and let it be heard.

I agree with it being an excellent idea… My only issue is I failed English in HS, not the best with proper spelling, punctuation, or writing layout!!!

The more errors it has the better.  lol.  We can correct spelling as its all auto correct anyway.  Nobody cares about grammer.  Most don’t anyway.

This is something I have pondered, and hearing about this is great news!  Hopefully I’ll be able to come up with some stuff from a fishing trip or just anytime outdoors!

If it runs, flies, or drives, I’m interested!

Matt is only kidding about the more errors the better. The cleaner the copy, the quicker it will get posted. Trust me on that. And I also think this is a great idea. Matt has lots of great ideas, actually.

I am truly excited about this! I’ve always wanted to be an outdoors writer! I dont think Jeff and the guys will have a problem with getting enough people to submit articles!
