Nothing Like a 20 Point Bow Buck!

Some of you might remember the buck story I posted about Dustin Burns earlier in the year. Dustin was able to harvest a big main frame 8 point with deep mule deer style forks. Well, this time it was his brother Derek shooting the big one.
Derek had been trying all season to get his tag on “Spikes”. He even got a shot at him earlier in the year, but was unable to connect. This time, Spikes was not so lucky. On Monday (that is right…the day after 1st gun season), Derek put a kill shot on the buck.
This unique looking buck has 20 scorable points and will probably gross in the high 160’s as a non-typical. Congrats Derek!
